Key points:
The 2027 season will usher in a new era with the launch of a partnership between Castelli and Amaury Sport Organisation. The brand will become the Official Technical Clothing Partner of all cycling races and challenges organised by A.S.O., including the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. All classification jerseys at these events will be designed and produced by Castelli, which will also produce jerseys for events such as L’Étape du Tour de France, Paris-Roubaix Challenge and Liège-Bastogne-Liège Challenge, which together attract more than 80,000 participants every year.
The new Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift jerseys will be unveiled at the presentation of the 2027 Tour de France route in Paris on 22 October. Further jerseys will be revealed in due course, along with wider clothing collections celebrating this landmark partnership.
Steve Smith, Global Brand Manager at Castelli: “This is a truly historic moment in Castelli’s 150-year history. For a global cycling brand, producing the Maillot Jaune of the Tour de France is the greatest honour there is, not to mention the jerseys for other major races such as Paris-Nice and La Vuelta. Returning to the Tour de France feels like coming home. We are incredibly proud of our heritage at the race, but even more excited about helping shape its future by equipping the next generation of champions with apparel that pushes the boundaries of speed, comfort and style.”
Yann Le Moënner, Chief Executive Officer of Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.): “This is not the first time Castelli and A.S.O. have joined forces around the Tour de France. Castelli previously produced the leader jerseys from 1989 to 1994, worn by some of the sport’s greatest champions, including Greg LeMond and Miguel Indurain. Once again, history meets the future: Castelli’s experience and expertise ensure that our leading riders will be equipped with products that meet the highest standards of quality.”
